TRIG EQUATION FORMING : One of the attractions of Norkfolk Island is it's....?
You need to differentiate the function then let dn/dx=0 that will give you the maximum and minimum points, then find d^2n/dx^2 and input the values of x that you found from the first step, where it is positive then you have a minimum value and where it is negative you have a maximum value. you find the difference by subtracting one from the other. I am not going to do it for you as as the point of you getting this question is to teach you but I will give you dn/dx=12.04cos(.0172d) and d^2n/dx^2 = -.207(.0172d) you find the N values by substituting the d values back into the original equation.
